Gotta loves these MIJ Fenders! For your consideration a 1980s Fender Stratocaster in Red! Probably made between ’84 and ’87 this is a killer feeling Strat made to plug in and play! Fender Japan officially launched in 1982 meaning this guitar was most likely made with in the first 5 years of the FujiGen Gakki facotry producing Fender guitars. Super rad period for Japanese Fenders!
Specs! This guitar is all original and in very good condition. Made in Japan. Chrome Gotoh tuners. Nut width measures 1-5/8″. One piece maple neck with a depth of .79″ at the first fret and .88″ at the twelfth fret. It has a 25.5″ scale length. Maple fingerboard with a 7.25″ radius. Original 21 small frets. Basswood body finished in red. Original single coil pick ups and wiring. Stock tremolo does not include a bar. Does not come with a case. Weighs 7 pounds and 6 ounces.
If your looking for a straight forward awesome Stratocaster this is your ticket! Made in Japan at an awesome time for the FujiGen Gakki factory! Great feel and playability. The neck has a nice natural finish thats very comfortable (not the gloss they used in later decades). Great weight for long sessions. Just a fun guitar from a great factory!
