Description
Summary: The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '61 Journeyman Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line. A traditional Alder body is finished in a 3-tone Sunburst finish. This Journeyman has a very lightly aged nitro finish that gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The Maple neck has a smooth relic finish and a AAA-grade Rosewood fingerboard. With a 9.5" radius and 21 frets, the '61 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '60 Strat oval “C” neck shape. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced. With a trio of Fender ’60 Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat.
