Since its release in 1954, the Stratocaster has remained popular despite various specification changes.
In the 1970s, there were many specification changes, and the period from 1970 to 1972 was a major turning point for the Stratocaster.
The '71 Stratocaster we have in stock this time is the first year with a bread nut that allows the truss rod to be turned from the head side, a three-point neck joint with micro-tilt, and the return of the one-piece maple neck.
In addition, "WITH SYNCHRONIZED TOREMOLO," which appeared on the head decal until mid-1971, is gone, leaving a large gap between the patent number and the Fender logo.
The body is a blonde-colored ash body, with a total weight of approximately 4 kg, symbolic of the 70s.
The tremolo bridge is a separate type that was used until 1971, but the saddle is a die-cast one, which is a transitional specification.
The combination of the heavyweight ash body and 1P maple neck produces a tone with clear contours, but each PU has a different character.
