Offered for sale;
Used c1995 Fender Made in Japan Pink Paisley Stratocaster serial number T035864.
This guitar is in excellent condition showing limited playing time.
The hippie movement influenced CBS owned Fender to produce several Flower Power guitars. These include Paisley Pink and Blue Floral Stratocasters, Telecasters and Telecaster basses.
The most famous is the Paisley Tele owned by James Burton and played extensively throughout his tenure with Elvis and beyond.
Except for one made in 1969 the Paisley Stratocasters were made in Japan only and featured an interesting hybrid of a '72 Strat body with a '68 Tele Pink Paisley finish. What certainly makes them special is the pink floral paisley finish, which was printed on foil backed paper and glued to the body and pickguard before being sprayed with clear polyester. This is the 2nd reissue, the first having a ’72 style large headstock. This issue has a ‘50s style maple neck and headstock.
Years of Production: 1988 - 1995, 2003 - 2004, 2008 (only 200 made this year)

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every
mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be
important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
