1958 Fender Studio Deluxe Tweed

Steel guitar “set” or “outfit” with tweed amp. Really rare. The last time we saw a one-owner Studio Deluxe set was 30 years ago…and it was this one. Yes, 30 years ago we bought this guitar and amp - sold together in 1958 - from the original owner. Now we have it back. For vintage fans that’s just plain juicy. The amp, a narrow-panel tweed Champ, is a clean, all-original example with its factory 6” speaker that has not been reconed. Original handle, original gray cord (wow!), and we put it on a variac and let it warm up gently. The guitar is a 6-string “table steel” (with legs) and its original tweed case that has a broken handle. In period Fender catalogs you’ll notice these sets come with guitar, case, and amp, generally with the 6” speaker. The guitar has its original manual and polish cloth.
