Its a bird, its a plane, its a Super Reverb! Up for grabs a 1966 Fender Super Reverb. Originally introduced in 1963 these amps are known for their loud cleans, warm tube distortion and scooped mids. Sparkly treble and round bass are the signature tones of this model. The 4×10 lay out makes this one of the most fun combos to stand in front of and turn up.
Specs! 40 watts! Six preamp tubes and two 6L6 power tubes. Four 10′ era correct speakers (non-original). Comes with a non-original foot switch. Built in Reverb and Tremolo (classic Fender set up). The normal channel features a Bright switch, a Volume knob, as well as Treble and Bass knobs. The Vibrato channel features a Bright switch, Volume knob, Treble, Middle and Bass knobs, Reverb knob and Speed and intensity knob for Vibrato.
These are one of my personal favorite amps. Whether its Jazz, Blues or Rock theres more then enough control to dial in your sound. Beautiful punchy single notes. Full balanced chords. Excellent pedal plat form. Theres a special joy that comes from plugging a fuzz into these amps and letting the 4x10s cut through you. This amps super power is being awesome!
