Blackguards are iconic for a reason, especially when they sound as incredible and look as cool as this 1951 Fender Telecaster in its original Blond finish! Infamously, the model name “Telecaster” was introduced in late ’51 to replace its original “Broadcaster” moniker after a brief legal feud with Gretsch. This guitar is also from late ’51, making this a great example of this transitional period. This Telecaster has a great vibe to it, with fine weather checking throughout and general light playwear. As a result, this neck is smooth in hand. The grain on this ash body is very pronounced; we particularly love the wavy section on the bass horn! This Tele is all original, including its original case.
