We’re so excited to have this all-original 1951 Fender Telecaster in Blond! After this model was rendered nameless for a short period following their legal battle with Gretsch, Fender employee Don Randall suggested the name “Telecaster,” taking inspiration from the popular new invention, the television. In late ’51, this model received “Telecaster” decals on the headstock; the rest is history. This particular guitar is in great condition for its age, still maintaining total originality even though it is over 70 years old! You will notice some fretboard wear to the cowboy chord area, some finish flaking on the back of the body, and some impressions on the back that look to come from something circular being pressed against the back of the guitar.
Overall Condition: 7.5, impression on back of the body, weather checking, and general light playwear
