This is a very cool Fender Telecaster, made in the USA in 1964. Sometimes mods can be cool and the Gibson humbucker in the neck position of a telecaster is in that category. This one has a 60's or early 70's patent sticker humbucker that sounds great. The pickup has the pole pieces toward the bridge in the Keith Richards Tele style, it doesn't change the sound but it looks cool! The bridge pickup is a fralin. One pot is original and dates to '64, the other is changed. The body is refinished natural. The neck has the original finish and decal. Neck date December 64. The bridge plate and tuners are also original. The pickguard and saddles are changed. This guitar weighs 6 pounds 13 ounces and is a screamer. It has been pro-setup in our store and plays great. It comes with the original case.
