Description
Summary: This is a 1960 Relic Telecaster. Its relic'd lacquer finish gives you the look and feel of a guitar that's been used and abused for decades. And it sounds like it, too, thanks to a set of ’63 single-coil pickups. From the first strum, you'll experience all the twang and grind you can handle. You will be impressed by the incredible vibration and sustain, courtesy of this tele's maple neck, while you enjoy its easy-playing 9.5"-radius AAA rosewood fingerboard. This 1960 Relic Tele includes vintage-style tuners and relic'd chrome/nickel hardware.

Body: Alder finished in Aged Lake Placid Blue.

Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.650” nut width, white dot inlays, 21 frets, bone nut, gloss finish on the back of the neck, 60s style oval “C” shape, .820 at the 1st fret/.890 at the 12th fret.

Pickups/Hardware: Two ’63 Telecaster single coil pickups, vintage style tuning keys, tortoise shell pickguard, 3-saddle bridge, master volume/master tone controls/3-way pickup selector.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use. It is relic’d to look aged. This consists of various nicks, dings, and scratches in the finish. The hardware is aged. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets are in great shape.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Weight: 7.355 lbs.

Case: This guitar ships in the original hard-shell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
