Who buys vintage guitars? We do!
Call 530-570-1525 or email sales@maharsvintageguitars.com to sell your vintage guitar, bass, amplifier, etc - one piece or a collection! We are always ready to buy instruments, amps and effects from Fender, Gibson, Martin, Epiphone, Rickenbacker, Gretsch, Marshall, Vox and just about anything else related to musical instruments.

Here we have a player's grade Fender Telecaster Deluxe from 1973.

At first glance, the guitar appears to have an original natural finish, a standard color on this model. The guitar was in fact original mocha in color - note the mocha paint remaining in the neck pocket and control cavity.

The neck survived the changes nicely, retaining the original tuners. The frets are low and have been milled but still have lift left.

The neck was not refinished. Anything not mentioned here is original to the guitar.

It is a really nice player and it is a lighter guitar for the era - just 7lbs 9.7oz.

Under the hood, one potentiometer was changed and some solder work has visited the other three original pots. One of the original pickups has had the cover removed, then returned to the pickup. I assume that this pickup was rewound at some point. Thee is no discernable difference in tone between the two pickups. The bridge is a reproduction part.

Everything works as it should, including the truss rod. The guitar sounds fantastic - these pickups have some great tone!

Non original hard case included.
