1995 Fender Telecaster Plus Crimson Burst

Summary: Made between the years of 1989-1995, this souped up Telecaster offered some very modern features for the time, while sticking to the classic feel and look of the Tele we know and love. The coil splitting options and ultra-clear Lace Sensor pickups seem at home on the beautiful Crimson Burst ash body and maple neck. This guitar has been inspected, setup and restrung by our in house guitar tech and it is playing wonderfully. It ships in its original hard-shell case full packed and insured.

Body: The ash body is finished in a transparent “Crimson Burst” and topped off with a white 3 ply pickguard.

Neck: It has a C shaped maple neck with 22 frets, 25.5” scale length, 1.675” nut width, black dot fingerboard markers, neck tilt adjustment screw, skunk stripe and closed back Fender tuners. There is a gold 50th anniversary sticker on the back of the headstock.

Pickups/Hardware: All hardware and pickups are original. The neck pickup is a Blue Lace Sensor single coil and the bridge pickup Red Lace Sensor humbucker. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs, 3-way pickup selector switch & 3-way mini toggle for coil splitting. All electronics are in good working condition and the pickups sounds fantastic.

Cosmetics: There are some minor scuffs on the body, mostly pick scratches and all consistent with a played but well cared for guitar of its age. There is one scratch way up high on the neck by the heel and some delaminated finish on the fingerboard but it does not affect the playability. See pictures

Playability: Our in-house luthier has inspected, set-up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is operating as it should and the frets are plenty tall with tons of life in them. Although there is some very minor wear on the frets it plays great without issues and the notes ring clear and true. This is a truly special guitar, it sounds and feels wonderful with low action up and down the fingerboard.
