1996 Fender Telecaster Plus Sunburst

Summary: This sunburst Telecaster Plus V2 is in very excellent with just a bit of playwear and ships in its original hardshell case. It has just been setup and restrung with a new set of 10s by our in house luthier and plays beautifully with low action and a wide array of tones thanks to 3 pickups, 5 way switch and mini toggle which turns the bridge pickup on in the 4 and 5 positions. The pickups have been changed but they sound great.

Body: Alder body with ash veneers, sunburst finish, belly contour, top binding, 3 ply pearloid guard.

Neck: bolt on maple neck with neck angle adjustment screw, rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 9.5” fingerboard radius and 1.7” nut width. Closed back Fender tuners.

Pickups/Hardware: 3 non-original single coil pickups, tele style pickups in the neck, chrome plated cover on a strat pickup in the middle position and flat pole tele pickup in the bridge. The hardware is chrome, 6 saddle bridge, volume, tone, 5 way switch and mini toggle which activated the bridge pickup in position 4 and 5.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape with some typical playwear around the knobs, back and frets. There are no major dings or dents, just some minor scratches around the edges and back. There is some fretwear around the first few frets under the g and b strings.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with some minor wear under the b and g string but it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: The pickups are changed
