1954 Fender Tweed Twin

Up for sale is a beautiful 1954 Fender Twin amp. The amp is in beautiful condition, the tweed is amber'd, but not all scratched or torn up, it shows extremely well. It still retains both original transformers and both it's 1954 dated P12 Q speakers. !954 is the first year for Fender to use the smaller 12AX7 and 12AY7 pre amp tubes, not the larger octal pre amp tubes. It's the missing link between the older wide panel Twins and the early 40 watt narrow panel twins. This one plays and sounds great . Clean and warm to 5 or 6 then starts to drive nicely. It has had the electrolytic caps replaced and some of the tone caps, but still retains about half the original tone caps. Just a great amp for the player and collector. Not too many this clean........
