Description

This is the one. 1959 Fender Twin Amp model 5F8-A loaded with 25 year old Celestion G12-K85 speakers, the same ones Keith Richards uses in his Twins. Just serviced by Jeff Bober ( East, Budda ) and sounding ridiculously good. One changed tube socket, hence the two taped leads - see pics, and newer cloth speaker leads. The only other change is the elecrolytics / filter caps, and they are the same model by the same manufacturer as original, with the same values and they've been there since the '70's, so the amp sounds very very close to how it would if it still had the originals. All else original other than maybe a couple of screws and of course tubes though several of them appear to be orig. Prefer domestic sale but will ship world-wide. SOLD.
