1960年の誕生から60年以上が経過した今でも大きくスタイルを変えることなく多くのプレイヤーに愛され続けています。
このAmerican Vintageシリーズは、ウッドマテリアルはもちろん細部の仕様まで限りなく再現して作られ、高い人気を博していました。
惜しまれつつも伝統的なスタイルのものは2017年に生産完了となってしまいましたが、ディスコンとなった今でもAmerican Vintageを求める人は多くいます。
本機はジャズベースの黄金期でもある1962年のジャズベースを忠実に再現したモデルです。
アルダーボディにスラブ貼りのローズウッド指板で、2ボリューム/1トーンのコントロールです。
ネックデイト、ボディデイト共に判読不能ですが、「V17….」のシリアルナンバーから2000年代製と判断しております。
ミッドローの粘り気がありつつアタック感を持つ、まさにジャズベースのお手本のようなサウンド。
スタンダードであり王道であるこのサウンドは幅広いジャンルで活躍できます。
