フェンダー社の代表シリーズ、アメリカン・ヴィンテージシリーズ。
1982年からの長い歴史のあるシリーズで、フェンダー社を立て直したと言っても過言では無い程のシリーズです。
原点回帰を目的とし、フェンダー社の黄金時代を築き上げた1957年製のストラトキャスターを忠実に復刻したモデルAmerican Vintage Series '57 Stratocasterです。
1Pメイプルネックにアルダーボディ、1Pピックガード、など57年の特徴をしっかりと復刻し、1Pメイプルネックらしいカラッとした歯切れの良いSTサウンドを出すことができます。
またピックアップセレクターはビンテージと異なり5wayとなっており、ハーフトーンを使うことも出来、サウンドバリエーションが豊かになっています。
ネックは少し薄めのCシェイプとなっているので、ストラトを初めて触る方にもおすすめです。
ヘッド裏にバーズアイが出ている珍しい個体です！
