Rare model with Long Horn shape!

American Standard is a long-selling series that has been sold for 30 years since its introduction in 1986. Currently, it is being developed as American Professional.

This model made in 1990 is a normal JazzBassshape, with a deep cutaway on the 1st string side and a long horn protruding from the 4th string side.
It has an alder body, slab rosewood fingerboard, and two volume and TBX controls.

Although this is a rare specification, it is one that is typical of the American Standard series, which has been taking on modern challenges while maintaining the traditional Fender style.
Many bassists may not be familiar with the TBX control, but based on the center click, 1~5 are normal tone controls, and 6~10 work as a low cut to emphasize high notes.
The low cut is gentle and can be adjusted by the amp or the bass player.EffectorThe low cut is a gentle control that is easy to use when you want to improve the sound, which is difficult to do with the EQ of the amp or the EQ of the bassist.
The sound is characterized by a fast rising mid-high range, and the ease with which nuance can be expressed when slapping is very impressive!
