This Tele was built in Mexico from an alder solidbody with a gloss polyester finish, a smooth maple neck and a matching fingerboard. Equipped with the coveted features that defined the decade — including period-accurate neck profile and playing feel — this Tele has all of the bite and twang that made the Telecaster a legend.
For authentic, vintage-style tone, Fender recreated a set of '50s single-coil Tele pickups that produce an articulate, crisp and snarling sound that put Fender on the musical map. A vintage-style Tele bridge with three brass barrel saddles gives this Tele it's characteristic twang.
