This is a super cool made in Japan 1972 Reissue Stratocaster (stamped model CST-50) from the 1980's. This one has an E serial, dating the year of manufacture to be somewhere between 1984-1987. The yellow finish has aged beautifully and the classic 70s neck profile feels great on this one.
This guitar does show a few signs of cosmetic wear from over the years. The finish has aged significantly from what I'm assuming was Olympic white to a now mustard colored yellow. The finish also has some scratches and small dents. There's some deeper scratches on the upper horn, bottom, and sides of the body. There's also some light scratching on the pickguard from years of normal play and the headstock shows some dings as well. There's also some some tarnish and light oxidation on the hardware. The frets are used but still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm and back spring plate have been added and the pickguard screws also appear to have been replaced. This guitar is otherwise original.
Includes the pictured gig bag.
