~1980 Fernandes LTD HSS Strat Floyd Fathead Metallic Blue

From the grand 1980s, a time when solidbody electric guitars from Japan were of super-high quality. Fernandez was at the top of that group and this particular one has got an exact Fender Stratocaster peghead shape, indicating that it was made before Fender sued everyone in sight for doing so (and they won). This lovely Fernandes Limited Edition (says so, right there as part of the peghead decal) with cool Metallic Blue finish has got a beautiful, and beautifully straight, maple neck with almost no fret wear, indicating that it was barely ever played; it surely is in terrific condition. With its hot humbucker/single-coil/single-coil pickup arrangement (sure look like DiMarzios to me) you’ve got all the headroom in the world to blast away. Not only that, but it’s got a super-professionally installed genuine Floyd Rose Tremolo System, whale away to your heart’s content. And….icing on the cake……. a genuine 1980s Fathead plate mounted on the back of the peghead, adds a bit of mass to the end of neck, giving extra sustain (you physics whizzes out there will understand) and while sustain itself can't be immediately discerned, the Fathead certainly gave guitars some extra, something, no doubt about it.
