2020 Friedman Metro D Aged Candy Red

Summary: This Guitar has just been setup with 10s by our in-house guitar tech and it plays and sounds phenomenal. It has a fantastic relic job on its nitrocellulose Candy Red finish, features 2 Friedman PAF style humbuckers and ships in its original hardshell case.

This Heavy-Aged version features the well-worn look of a nitro-finished old and faithful companion. The guitar comes with a custom G&G hard case and a certificate of authenticity signed by both Friedman and Jackson. This classic-in-the-making will certainly be one for the ages”

Body: Mahogany body with maple top and a heavily aged Candy Red nitrocellulose lacquer.

Neck: It has a 2 piece mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, small offset pearloid block inlays, 1.65” nut width, 22 jumbo frets and compound radius fingerboard. The back of the headstock/neck has a very elegant volute.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 Friedman proprietary humbucker pickups with 3 way toggle, 1 volume, 1 tone, aged nickel hardware, locking hipshot tuners, tone-pros tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece.

Cosmetics: This guitar has lots of tastefully executed factory done relicing, lacquer checking in the red finish, wear around the arm rest area, satin feel on the back of the neck to replicate a guitar that has been gigged for years, lots of little nicks, dings and scratches all over the guitar and plenty of buckle rash. The guitar is in excellent used condition and has not been played very much.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
