Airline 7214 Amp and Case 1960's

About Guitar: Made by the same people who made Supro, this was cousin to the Silvertone version of the amp/case guitar combo. The guitar has what looks like two humbuckers but are actually single coils. There is also a tremolo switch that is bypassed on this guitar. 

The electronics on this guitar have been completely redone and upgraded. The teremelo bar had to be removed. One pickup was rewound and is sounding better than ever. All pots and the pickup switch have been replaced. It sounds great and is fully functional.

Guitar is fully functional and sets up great for this style of guitar. It is right on par for Valco/Supro/Silvertone/Harmony/Dan Electro guitars. Bridge is original, neck is straight, frets are nice. Its going to make a great player guitar and it looks great. Both pickups have their gold foil which is rare.

About Amp: The amp itself is very similar to a Fender Champ, with a tube complement of 12AX7, 6V6, and 5Y3. It's no slouch, this one, and sounds far better and louder than the tiny amps typically found in the similar Silvertone models. There is a hum however and it should be serviced/ recapped.
