Harmony H305A Tube Combo Amp 1960's

Here is a Harmony H305A amplifier, sold during 1960 as part of a set with a Harmony H54 guitar.  This is a single-ended design based on the Fender 5E3 circuit as used on the classic 1950’s Tweed Fender Deluxe amp. With a pair of 6V6 power tubes, about 15 watts would be delivered to a single 12 inch speaker.

Original speaker: Jensen G12R

Comes with a set of RCA Power tubes and 5Y3GT. Vintage Westinghouse 12AX7 preamp tubes.

Amp works and is sounding great. It has been recapped. Hums like an old tube amp but otherwise no issues.

Comes with original back panel (not pictured).

This particular model was used by Neil Young during his ‘Squires’ period, from 1963 to 1965. They were built for Harmony by Sound Projects Company of Chicago and is virtually identical to Sound Project’s own branded amplifier, the  Lectrolab R500B.

The Harmony H305A amp is complete, and in good condition overall.
