This 1950's Gibson J-45 plays and sounds great! The woods are comprised of a Sitka spruce top with Select mahogany back and sides. The electronics feature the LR Baggs VTC pickup which brings out the warm richness of the J-45's tone. The bridge has been sanded down for a more comfortable medium action.
As shown on the back there is unfortunately a crack starting just behind the neck heel on the back of the body. Otherwise, this guitar shows minor cosmetic wear that includes light surface scratches and scuffs throughout the body from normal play. The back of the neck also has a couple small dings as well. There's also a small circular dent above the 4th fret that appears to have been filled with a black marker. The frets are in nice shape and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is all original.
