This Gibson J-45 ADJ is a 1960's reissue from the Custom Shop. It just came in and got through our system quickly, and I think it is probably going to move out just as fast.
The guitar plays perfectly with killer action. The nut is 1 3/4" wide, which caught us off guard. We triple checked to make sure, because the standard spec for Gibson would be either 1 9/16" or 1 11/16". And yes, we triple checked! This nut width makes for a great feel.
The guitar has been very well cared for. The frets show little to no wear. There are superficial signs of use here and there, but no significant dings and certainly no cracks or repairs. There was a pickup system in the guitar at one point, as evidenced by the replacement endpin that is mounted with a Stewart Macdonald part that fills the vacant output jack hole and holds the stock looking endpin. A strap button was added to the neck heel.
The neck set is perfect, allowing us to set the guitar up with great action. As always, we checked the truss rod to make sure there is room for future neck relief adjustments.
The nice, original case holds the original certificate of authenticity and warranty card.
