Gibsonの代表的なベストセラーモデル"J-45"
今回、2005年 カスタムショップ製Historic Collection、通称"ヒスコレ"が入荷いたしました。
ヴィンテージ・スタイルを踏襲しているだけあって、ワン・リングのロゼッタやスモール・ピックガード等1950年代前半のJ-45を彷彿とさせるデザインです。
この仕様、ギブソン好きには正直堪りません。
この頃は塗装チェッキングが入りやすいのも特徴のひとつで、
こちらの個体にも渋いチェッキングがみられます。
現在では新品のアコースティックでも"エイジド加工"があるわけですから、経年によって"自然にできた"表情の変化というのは大きな魅力のひとつです。
サウンドにおいても、Gibsonらしいジャキっとした音は顕在。
明るくパワフルで"元気"な鳴りをしており、そこに野太い低音が加わることで、コードストロークで弾いたときの爽快感は格別です。
"十八番を歌って、楽しいひとときを過ごす"というのも良いのではないでしょうか。
