Gibson Acoustic's First Japanese Artist Model

Gibson / 2013 Kazuyoshi Saito J-45

The first Gibson acoustic guitar signature model by a Japanese artist is now in stock.

In the 2010s, Gibson Montana Factory and Kazuyoshi Saito teamed up to develop an artist model.

This model is a partial reproduction of Kazuyoshi Saito's partner "Model 1," a '68 J-45 Ebony Black.

The prototype was used in NHK's "Kohaku Uta Gassen" at the end of 2012, and became a topic of conversation.

Ebony Black was originally a rare color model that was available from 1967 to 1969 along with Cherry Red.

The white pickguard with screw-on closure is unique to this rare color model.
The saddle screws on the adjustable bridge have been removed and the bridge is attached closely to the body, just as he did.

If it is 1968 spec, it will be narrow neck period,
This 2013 Kazuyoshi Saito J-45 has a very thick neck developed with reference to his own 1934 L-00 and 1947 J-50.

Despite the thickness of the neck, it is very well balanced,
It has a bright, bouncy, high quality tone that only Gibson Montana Factory can produce.

The pickups are equipped with Fishman Ellipse Matrix Blend.
The blend of piezo and mic allows for a wide range of sound makeup.
This is a solid and usable guitar.

Use it or just look at it,
The 2013 Kazuyoshi Saito J-45 is the first Japanese signature model, which is rarely available now.
