1952 Gibson 52-57 Les Paul Conversion

This conversion started from an original 1952 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop that had no breaks or repairs. Underneath the gold was a 3 piece maple top.

Conversion work includes: Neck reset, neck tenon changed to 4 degrees, Change neck angle on body by pulling back binding & route 4 degrees, plug and route for humbuckers. Bore & install tailpiece bushings, Bore & tap for ABR1 Studs, Guitar weighs 8lbs 9oz. All woods are Original to the guitar: (mahogany body, maple top, mahogany neck, Holly headstock veneer, body binding, Bz fingerboard, inlays & binding). Refretted with Jescar 55095, Mammoth Nut

50’s Parts: Tuners, Truss Rod Cover, Switch, switch tip & harness, Output jack, Strap Buttons, Back Plates

Repro Parts Include: ThroBak JW-102B Pickups & Pickup Rings, CTS Premium 500K Pots with NOS Russian PIO caps, Kluson ABR1 bridge & Stop tailpiece, Jackplate, JamCity pickguard, Knobs, Gibson 80’s HS case.
