1994 Gibson Custom Shop '59 Les Paul "Sunburst"

A truly one-of-a-kind offering from the Gibson Custom Shop! This guitar started out life as a 1994 '59 reissue with a top hand selected by an employee for a personal guitar. After years of sitting unfinished, this guitar was finally completed in 2022 with a finish job by the legendary Tom Murphy. It features the early 1994 top carve and period correct paperwork, ass well as a present day COA documenting Tom's finish work. The stunningly flamed maple top is unlike any other we've seen, with a wide quilt pattern and beautiful cherry Sunburst finish. The guitar includes a new Lifton style hardshell case with a 50's style canvas case cover. A truly unique guitar that represents the pinnacle of Gibson Custom Shop's craftsmanship.
