Small body with crisp vintage sound

Gibson / 1964 B-25N

Rare B-25 in natural color with early specs.
It was made in 1964, and the original thin large pickguard was used until this year.
It is painted in and when you shine the light on it, you can see the wood grain of the body closely attached to the pickguard, which is very austere.

The bridge probably had a plastic bridge in the past,
It has been replaced with a rosewood bridge and oversprayed.
Groove cutting has been done to angle the strings, but there is no peeling and no playing/strength issues.

The pegs are also original Cruson tuners.
The single line specification is unique to the early model, and the year 1964 was the transitional year for the change to double line.

The nut width is 42.5mm regular neck, and the head angle is 17 degrees, which was changed to 14 degrees in the following year.

I am sorry to say that my introduction is biased toward the specifications,
The sound of this vintage small body has a crisp and responsive tone.
The sound is not saturated, but dense and you can feel the core of the sound.

- Saddle protrusion: approx. 3.0mm

- There are 12 touch-up marks on the fingerboard surface.
- Bridge has been replaced.
