Gibson Bharat Khandekar Les Paul Burst Replica (1959 reissue)
While "replicas" aren't usually something we get into, a Bharat Khandekar is a lotta bit different.
BK replicas are VERY well made and VERY convincing.
This particular instrument is exceptionally resonant, lightweight @ 8 lbs 4 oz. and has the quintessential late 59 neck profile .85 - .95.
The woods used for this build look, feel and respond like old wood does. The FB is without questions Brazilian, the inlays are absolutely correct, the entire guitar black lights as one would expect & the routes are for all intents and purposes, perfect. There are a couple of subtle differences that those with enough experience and real bursts to compare apples to apples to can decipher.
This Burst replica is currently outfitted with all high quality repro parts with the exceptions being the harness; which is a matched quad from 1960 & the PAT's pulled from a 63/4 SG. The patent number pickups smoke! 8.8 B & 8.1 N.
