'76 Gibson Byrdland with rare special order black finish - had to be a special order, there are so few out there, also check out the unusually beautiful inlays, in addition to the nearly perfect gold plating, and the rich color that the binding has turned over nearly 50 years of being so well taken care of. Ok, it's just cosmetics, but cosmetics are a big part of the allure. "Perhaps" more important is that this one plays beautifully and the only thing better sounding would be one 10 or 15 years older and much more expensive. Extremely fine original condition other than the pick guard missing, the original mounting bracket is in the case pocket, along with the original pickup covers that were swapped out for nicer ones (and could be reinstalled and re-plated if desired). Ships with crazy clean correct original case.
