This Gibson lap steel is a killer piece on it's own, but it also utilizes some parts that are era correct for some really rare and valuable Gibson guitars of the same early 50s era. The knobs would be correct on goldtops and archtops from the period and the output jack is something that would be found on later 50s Les Pauls as well. These parts are worth some $$, but I can't take them off this lap steel myself - it is too nice a piece to rob!
The steel is all original. The tuner buttons are decaying. They can easily be replaced. If the steel is here for a while we will do it ourselves.
The original case is included and is also in beautiful condition. The original key for the case is included as well. This will need strings when you get it - I don't have the right set for a steel currently.
