Up for sale is an incredibly cool limited edition 2021 Gibson Custom Shop Chuck Berry 1970s ES-355 Murphy Lab in Wine Red. This example is in excellent factory light aged condition. There is a very small area of finish wear located on the face of the headstock near the D tuning key. Pro setup in house and includes its original hard case (some light exterior scuffing / wear), COA and Chucky Berry Captains Hat. Johnny B Goode! Weight: 9lbs. 9oz.

Honorific titles aside, Berry's contributions to the creation and development of the genre are impossible to dispute. He's arguably rock's first guitar hero. The Gibson Chuck Berry 1970s ES-355 is a meticulous re-creation of the legendary guitarist Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll-era instrument. Its all-maple, semi-hollow body positively shouts, while dual CustomBucker pickups deliver true-to-life late-1960s PAF tone. The Chuck Berry ES-355's hand-filling, ES-335-inspired neck profile and 22-fret ebony fingerboard ensure ample playability. A Tune-o-matic bridge, a Vibrola tailpiece, and Grover Keystone tuners round out this semi-hollowbody electric guitar's period-correct hardware. Visually speaking, the Chuck Berry ES-355 features an attention-grabbing Wine-Red finish with Murphy Lab custom aging. Limited to 100 hand-built guitars, the Gibson Custom Chuck Berry 1970s ES-355 comes with a 1970s-style case, a captain's hat, a conduit bracket/finger holder, and a certificate of authenticity.
