2011 Gibson Custom "One-Off" Chambered '59 Les Paul Reissue Tobacco Sunburst Gloss

This amazing piece was ordered with a few features which make it one of the most unique Les Paul Reissues that I have ever come across. The build specs for this guitar include highly figured mahogany for the body and neck. The hand-carved neck heel is a work of art in and of itself. The custom bridge piece, pickup covers and truss rod cover have been custom-engraved by Cirelli Jewelers of Beaver, PA.
In the interest of light weight, this one-off instrument was ordered with a chambered body which gives it a total weight of just 7.8 lbs. (with the metal control plate medallion installed). It has a 50's round C neck with depth measurements of .902" at the first fret increasing to 1.02" at the twelfth fret. It is finished in gloss tobacco sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer (no VOS treatment).
Beyond its very special features, this is simply an amazing LP. It plays superbly and sounds as a Les Paul should; warm and woody with lots of bite. Please check out the brief (clean) sound sample included below.
This guitar has been on display and has seen little if any play and remains in near mint condition and the frets are flawless. It comes in its original brown Lifton style case along with the certificate of authenticity and hang tags.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included.
