Gibson Custom Shop 2018 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul VOS Hand Selected

This is a hand-selected "1959 Les Paul VOS" model made from carefully selected wood.

It is made from flamed maple with a distinctive grain and weighs only 3.65kg.

The 2018 specs include: maple and mahogany hide glued body, True Historic parts, new body carving, a slightly thinner neck shape than before by re-measuring from the original 1959 Les Paul, a body back with new color slightly faded aniline dyed color, and a new truss rod cover with more cream tint.

The pickups are equipped with two custombackers.

There are a few scuffs on the body top, several tiny dents and scratches on the body back, a few scuffs on the body sides, and two tiny dents on the cutaway area.

There is some reddish discoloration on the body back and back of the neck, and a few pockmarks on the body sides and edges, but the guitar is in good condition with no noticeable damage.

There is a slight dent at the frets in the low position of the plain strings, but overall there is about 70-80% remaining.
