2010 50th 1960 Les Paul Reissue Version Two
A 1960's style Les Paul with a thin neck, which is relatively rare in the Custom Shop.
This Les Paul was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1960 Les Paul. The deep, shimmering wood grain on the top is mesmerizingly beautiful. The Burst Backer 1 & 2 pickups were developed under the title of "complete revival of the original Patent Applied Four" and reproduce the sound changes of the original PAFs over time with subtle changes for each type. Type 1 has a slightly reduced number of coil turns and produces a delicate, clean, crisp sound, especially suited for the front position. Type 2 uses a DC resistance of around 8.0 ohms, which is typical of the original PAF, for a mellow tone with a firm attack. 1960 Les Paul thin neck, thinner than 1959, but thicker than the full 1960s style, reproduces the grip of the transitional period.
