2021 Gibson Custom Shop '63 SG Junior Reissue!

On-Hold…Here is a really great recent Gibson Custom Shop '63 SG Junior reissue in Cherry. This thing keeps up with the old stuff quite well! Sounds huge and plays easy. The guitar has a few small dings as shown. Nothing too bad but not minty. Also, the little reflectors on the knobs are missing. Otherwise it's a nice way to get a guaranteed good one of these for a discount. The guitar comes with the original case, COA, and paperwork as shown.

The SG Junior was introduced to the world in the early 1960s as a lower-priced version of the SG to bring the model's signature sound to a broader audience of players, much like the Les Paul Junior had a few years before. However, guitarists discovered that "Junior" was somewhat of a misnomer — it had a big, bold, and totally unique sound that was embraced by bluesman, garage rockers, psychedelic guitarists, and proto-punks. For this stunning reissue, Gibson went back to the very beginning of the SG Junior, meticulously replicating the guitar's signature features, including an extended neck tenon, hide glue construction, and a single P-90 pickup.
