2023 Gibson Custom Shop B.B. King "Live at the Regal" '59 ES-335 Murphy Lab Aged Argentine Grey, in as new condition - virtually unplayed, collector owned. A breathtaking replica of the guitar heard on one of the finest live albums ever made. Limited to unit units worldwide, this one is #37 - this is a seriously cool package, with some very nice additional merchandise.
Based on B.B. King's custom ordered 1959 ES-335, which had some very cool unusual custom specifications - such as the Argentine Grey finish, varitone circuit and factory Bigsby. In addition to this it also features Grover "Milk Bottle" Rotomatic tuners, pearl dots which to cover the stop bar holes, and nitrocellulose dot inlays on the rosewood fretboard. Super comfortable Authentic '59 Medium C neck profile and the stock unpotted Custombucker pickups sound fantastic, wired mono with CTS Audio Taper pots and paper in oil capacitors. The nitrocellulose finish and hardware have both recently the full Murphy Lab ageing treatment which looks very authentic, some beautiful subtle checking running the length of the guitar.
We would be very surprised if this very limited edition model didn't become a highly sought after collectible run in the not too distant future. Includes OHSC, cert and all pictured paraphernalia.
