Gibson Custom Shop 2009 Inspired by Billy Gibbons “Pearly Gates” 1959 Les Paul VOS

The "Billy Gibbons Pearly Gates Les Paul VOS" model is a reproduction of the 1959 Les Paul used by Billy Gibbons of ZZ TOP.

This model was produced in a limited edition of 250 and is a reissue of the Les Paul known as the "Pearly Gates".

The top is made of Eastern Hard Rock Maple, selected under his supervision, and the characteristic curves of the body top and neck shape, which differ from those of the general Historic Collection, have been meticulously reproduced in every detail.

It features the same specs as the original, including a Phillips-screw pickguard and metal jack plate, and is equipped with special Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates Humbucker pickups.

The tailpiece and 1st string side stud anchor have been replaced. (No original included).

The guitar is in good condition with no noticeable damage, although the metal parts are tarnished and slightly corroded, there is a slight scuff on the top, a few scratches on the back, one tiny dent on the back edge (near the jack) and a few scratches around the endpin.

There is almost no fret wear, and there are no problems with the neck and truss rod.
