Released in 1999, a very limited run of 333 Les Paul guitars were made by the craftsmen of the Gibson Custom Shop commemorating one of the most iconic race car drivers in history. This instrument is a prototype for that limited run, making it one of, if not the earliest example of this collectible instrument. With a carbon fiber pickguard, hood pin strap locks, lug nut knobs, and intricately inlaid fingerboard, this is truly like no other Les Paul. This rare example includes an original Custom Shop case, as well as a certificate, display case, and 4 signed prints of original artwork used for this guitar.
