Gibson Custom Shop 2019 Historic Collection 1959 Flying V Mahogany Vintage Gloss
This is “1959 Flying V Mahogany Vintage Gloss" model with mahogany body and white pickguard.
The model features the characteristic 50s-style neck joint, gold hardware, linearly arranged controls, sharply angled pickguard, back-threaded V-bridge plate, non-slip rubber on the body side, and 21-fret neck joint.
The guitar is lightweight as 3.19kg and the neck has a 50s-like stout and thick shape, and the pickups are equipped with un-potted Custombuckers.
The capacitors have been replaced.
There are dull metal parts, several slightly larger dents at the tip of the V, several 4mm sized dents and numerous pockmarks on the body top, numerous dents and scratches on the body back and sides, numerous scratches and shallow dents on the back of the neck and numerous dents to the head.
The frets have been rubbed together and are not dented, with about 70-80% remaining, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
