Gibson Custom Shop 2004 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul Reissue
This is a "1959 Les Paul Reissue" model with an impressive wavy grain pattern across the top.
The grip of the neck has a much thicker shape than on recent '59 models, and was originally finished in a washed cherry color with a slightly faded reddish hue that has further faded with age.
The metal parts and paintwork have been polished to a 'Gloss' shine.
The pickups are equipped with Burstbucker 1 &2.
There is some fading of the reddish color, mainly on the back of the neck and body back, one ding on the body side (6th string side) and a few pockmarks on the body back and edges.
There are no dents in the frets and there is about 70-80% remaining, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
