Gibson Custom Shop 2023 Historic Collection 1961 SG Standard VOS
This is a "1961 SG Standard" model with stop tailpiece.
The "1961 SG Standard" model with stop tailpiece and "Les Paul" engraved on the rod cover is a reproduction of the 1961 specs.
The neck is a "1960 Slim Taper Neck Profile" with a thin grip, and the pickups are equipped with a Black Beauty replica made by LUXE and pots with a modified curve, which will be the specification from 2019. Two un-potted Alnico 3 custom backers are installed.
There is one ding on the back of the body (near the elbow), and a few chips on the top of the body (by the jack and near the endpin) and on the sides of the body.
The frets are almost completely intact, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
