Gibson Custom Shop 2023 Japan Limited Run 1954 Les Paul Standard Wraparound 2-Humbucker VOS
This is a special edition "1954 Les Paul Standard Wraparound two Humbucker VOS" model produced as a limited edition in Japan.
It is based on the '54 model with the wraparound bridge and Lower Logo head logo, but the body back and the back of the neck are all ebony black, and it is equipped with two humbucker pickups.
All the hide gluing and parts have been carried over from the True Historic model, and vintage taper pots and bumblebee type oil capacitors have been adopted.
The neck is a “50s Rounded Medium C”, rounder and thicker than standard ’59 models, with medium jumbo frets, and the pickups are un-potted Custombuckers. (Pickup covers are also included)
There are some shallow scuffs on the body top, a few pockmarks and scratches on the body back, and a small ding on the back of the neck (around the 13th fret).
The frets are barely worn, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
The hard case is a Gibson Custom Shop hard case of a different age.
