Used Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Elegant, 1997, Firemist Flame

One of the many stunning examples we've seen is this Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Elegant, made in 1997 for Yamano Gakki and his discerning Japanese customers, who demanded premium build quality and Gibson's more beautiful tops. This one (serial number 791533) is a stunner in flamed Firemist, with premium ebony fingerboard — but the hidden difference is the unique chambering that Gibson used for these guitars. You can hear and feel this difference before even plugging in.
This fiery Les Paul Elegant is in Very Good condition — with the numerous minor dings, scratches, back buckle rash and overall signs of aging in the hardware and finish that you would associate with a 21 year old guitar — and an estimated 80% remaining fret life. Collectors know how rarely these guitars turn up, but we hope this one goes to a player who will unleash its sonic and visual potential early and often, for the benefit of many.
