The Dove, famous for being used by Elvis Presley and Shinji Tanimura, was introduced in 1962, following the success of the square-shouldered Hummingbird released in 1960.

While the Hummingbird had mahogany sides and back and an upper belly bridge, the Dove was made of harder maple and featured a newly designed tuned "O"-matic bridge. The neck is the same 25-1/2'' scale as the J-200. The color lineup includes Cherry Sunburst and Natural.

This guitar was made in 1965 with regular grip/tune "O"-matic, natural color, and features a white truss rod cover with a black frame.

The bright and jangly sound color of the tuned "O" matic is a big attraction, and the picking response is excellent as well, as is the maple.

Weather-checking is also present throughout the instrument, and the vintage aura of the instrument has been maintained and adjusted to ensure good playability.
The bass tone is hard to replace with other guitars, and the sound is also very good.

- String height at the 12th fret: 2.5mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side.

-There is a 0.7cm crack glued repair at the bottom of the sound hole.
