Description

Here we have a worn in 1965 Gibson EB-0 in Cardinal Red! The EB-0 debuted in 1959 with a double-cut, Les Paul-style slab body. In 1961, it was redesigned with an SG body style, along with Gibson’s other solid body models. Cherry is by far the most common color for this model, so to see this example in Cardinal Red is not an everyday occurrence. Whoever owned this particular example must’ve had quite the belt buckle, as most of the wear is on the back of the body in the buckle rash area. The undercoat on this bass is white, which pops out compared to the deep red, particularly in the weather checking!

Overall Condition: 6, buckle rash, weather checking, playwear
