1965/1968 Gibson Es-120T in very good shape. Classic Gibson hollowbody sound in a compact and comfortable thinline body. These were the lowest line of Gibson’s hollowbodies, featuring the simplified pickup and electronic design that “dropped in” into the body for easy manufacturing. Also it featured just one “f hole” to accommodate the electronic-filled pickguard. Though these were Gibson’s starting line they are still quality vintage pieces that sound and play fantastic! The serial number of this guitar dates it to either 1965 or 1968, the potentiometers date to 1966. There is an indentation in the finish on the back of the neck but it does not seem to get in the way while playing. There are some light finish cracks on the back of the neck and the headstock as well as a small separation in the binding at the base of the neck. The binding has yellowed some which adds to the vintage look of this beautiful piece. The pickguard has some scratches and the pickup has a slight bit of wear to it. There is an impression in the back of the body made from a strap that was unfortunately left in the case but otherwise it is in fantastic condition. Comes with chipboard case.
